SOCAN fun

Well, I received my first SOCAN payment yesterday, a little less than I anticipated, but now I know it's all working :-)

So, if you're a broadcaster and want to play one of my songs on air, just make sure to log it. My stuff is "all Canadian" (MAPL) so it counts as Canadian content :-) And if I have not registered it with SOCAN yet, they will let me know if a piece comes up on a cue sheet by WEBmadman...

When I get it together, I will start adding a PODcast to my blogs (I don't like the name-brandness of that word, but it's what people understand right now...) So stay tuned...

 

A bit of a make over

Whew! That's a lot of mucking about, but I'm settling into this new "information engine" ;-)

Just seeing how this blog thing works. It's nice having it all together, log in to the site, update the blog, do a few tweaks on a page or two... Still got a lot of tweaking to do yet. So far I seem to be getting a clearer idea of what to put where- I got a lot of stuff, and this is like having a house that's as big as the stuff that's in it- so it can get pretty full without ever filling up... curiouser and curiouser, this cyber rabbit hole, shall we see how deep it goes?...!

Anyhoo, let's see how this hangs and I'll be back!
