Another quick track
Submitted by webmadman on Thu, 2010-03-04 16:54.Another post, this time with audio
Submitted by webmadman on Fri, 2010-01-08 14:55.Hey, another post, hopefully this becomes a habit :-)
This time around though, I'm catching up on uploading some recent audio noddlings.
12192009 is one of those wordless vocal experiments- the "title" is the date it was done- December 19th, 2009- my brother Matt's birthday- happy b-day Matt!
Outin is a brain fart I had "The lense you see through is in the shape of you"...
The beginning of things to come
Submitted by webmadman on Thu, 2010-01-07 22:53.Well, I just got home from the first meeting of what is going to be becoming a weekly thing.
We're calling it The Focus Group and we're discussing projection art. This is a part of developing my new project The Screen.
We mainly outlined what we will be doing- laying the groundwork, like agreeing to weekly meetings ;-)
I'm planning on reporting more as it moves forward.
So far, it's at least made me do a new blog entry! :-)
Finally got the number trip out of my head
Submitted by webmadman on Tue, 2009-12-22 23:29.Well, it's been in my head for a long time, but I finally got it out of my head and onto the web. :-)
Go check out the Pattern of Numbers and get your mind blown- maybe.
Webmaster's work is never done!
Submitted by webmadman on Wed, 2009-08-26 13:28.Just a quick note here to say, my site is hopelessly out of date!
I've been quite busy with other people's projects, so have had no time to keep up with my own...
But I promise to give this space some TLC soon- getting the image gallery up and running will be my first priority, but that will not be a simple task, I have a great number of images...
Cabin Jam
Submitted by webmadman on Wed, 2009-01-14 19:36.A quick note to upload a jam from a number of years ago- a remote cabin in Lake St Peter- a variety cast- you know who you are- caught in digital audio- and now here it is...
- Cabin Jam - Track 01

Another quick one
Submitted by webmadman on Sat, 2008-02-23 14:47.Yes, come on lets play :-)

A little preview
Submitted by webmadman on Thu, 2008-02-21 00:40.As usual, my output continues unabated- I have a tasty early mix of a new peice I'm cooking up- it's based on an old piece- Just Because You Say It from The Madman Chronicles but with a whole new bed track, lovingly crafted with my new favorite toy- LMMS.
So have a listen to Just Because 2008...
- [audio-tag-album] - Just Because 2008 Feb 21 mix
3:30 minutes (3.42 MB)
Still working on it
Submitted by webmadman on Mon, 2008-02-04 14:13.Well, never one to stop once I get started, I've been continuing with the tweaking here- Dark Cheese now hasa popup player, the other albums will follow- takes a while to set up when there are 23 tracks per album- yikes! Also, I'm going to register my albums with various online databases and such- yeah, fun, we-ha! Online releasing joy, but once I get a workflow, I'll start helping other audio artists to do the same.
One of the tasks I accomplished was setting up Google Analytics so I can see a lot more detail about who's looking at the site here- shout out to whoever it is in Outremont (or at least their ISP is there) that's been enjoying my output :-)
And hey folks- remember to leave some comments, I love feedback and the comments seem to be working for sure now...
Of course, this major push here has got me figuring out a ton of stuff, so I've got a whole new layer of skills to offer my clients!
Until next time, stay in the groove!
Big update
Submitted by webmadman on Sat, 2008-02-02 21:51.Okay, I just did a major update to my site, particularly the releases page- you can know listen to the tracks individual on the site or there are now folders with the entire albums in mp3 format- yes, I've bowed to the inevitable and released it all in mp3- there's still ogg versions kicking around of a bunch of stuff, but for now the albums are available in mp3... Also in the media folders are larger versions of the covers, and m3u playlists as well :-)
The other thing is that the comments are enabled on the album info pages, so leave your thoughts, opinions or ideas on what you listen to...
Enjoy!
Now I need some sleep :-/
